Behind The Magic: Transformation Before and After #4

The main thing I wanted in the mini makeover with Jane was to bring out her sharp, brown eyes. All that was going on with the disjointed cut, the old lady, too-wide, wire rim glasses, undefined brows and lavender sweater distracted one from seeing JANE--a funny, smart stand-up front person at our art house theater.

I gave her a shorter shag razor cut which makes her hair look fuller and gave it a STYLE. Much to her chagrin, I waxed her brows into a generous arch. I smoothed out her skin with Dr. Hauschka foundation, number two. I used their number two concealer around her eyes, gave her the tiniest lining to the outer corners with number six pencil. I added a light application of mascara and number two sheer lip color, which focuses the eye on her eyes. I put her in our Eyebob readers that fit her face and has enough personality for her. She had her prescription lenses put into them. The blue button down shirt is great for her. The lavender sweater had to go.

Doesn’t she look sharp? This took little time and most importantly, she loves it. She sends people our way.
