Brows, brows, great brows...

All about eyebrows:

Generally eyebrows should be the color of roots, not lighter. They are also the frame for your face, and shape is important. Over plucking seems to be back and is just as startling as it was in the past. Don’t do it. No one hears a word you say; all they can see is the two weird lines across your forehead.  And at some point brows won’t grow back, and you may regret this choice.  Almost as bad is the unkempt look women proudly sport, boasting to me in the salon that they’ve never touched their brows.  Sometimes this is a success. But generally I say have nothing more to say than, “Really?” Then there’s the otherwise well done shape except for the inner edge.  I see women often leave a great gap from the bridge of their nose to the beginning of the widest point of the brow. The pencil measurement trick remains true: From the corner of your mouth to your outer nostril and then to your brow. Don’t remove hair outside this point.  But the biggest question I have for most women is this: why would you let an unknown, unproven person wax your beautiful eyebrows?
